Dana Levin received a BFA in painting and drawing from the acclaimed School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Subsequent study took place in Italy at the rigorous Florence Academy of Art, where she trained in the painting and drawing techniques of the Old Masters. After teaching at the academy for several years, Dana returned to the United States and opened The New School of Classical Art, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It was closed in 2008 so she could devote herself full-time to painting.
Dana has received awards and honors from prestigious national and international juried shows and museums. She has been profiled in many prominent publications, including Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, International Artist Magazine, American Art Collector & Artist’s Magazine. She is also included in important museum collections, as well as in private and corporate collections nationwide.
